With the recent 50th birthday party planning we took part in, we knew we had to have lanterns and festoon lighting in there. This complimented the stretch tent marquee provided by Hurlingham Stretch Tents. A fantastic stretch tent company that I would highly recommend, especially if you are getting married or planning a party on the Isle of Wight.

The design aspect was highly influenced by the couple we had a pleasure working with. They wanted to keep things sophisticated yet reflecting who they are as individuals. It was important that the party showed the heritage of where they were from, being brought up in the country was ideal to showcase a rustic party. From hay bales to seaside peep boards, we really did have everything! To Have & To Hire were able to provide us with nautical themed hanging lanterns and festoon lighting to match. We even were able to get the seaside peep board and garden games from them!

The catering company we worked with were the Isle of Wight Caterers, also known as The Cater Temp Group. Absolutely fantastic catering company to work with and provided everything we asked for. We were specifically after a hog roast style theme, but wanted to keep this sophisticated and they definitely delivered. You had the option to pick from multiple choices of canapés which were delicious. All food is locally sourced on the island with this caterer, so you can be sure to know that the food is of top quality.
